Roger Rangel came to work for Goodwill in 2003 and began his tremendous accomplishment in the area of workers compensation (reduced workers comp claims and cost by as much as US $800,000 and facilitated state-of-the-art CCTV implementation and integration in partnership with Digital Acoustics' Talk Master, a very effective tool in preventing theft and external losses).
Roger also implemented biometrics and Kronos time management and verification (in partnership with the Department of Justice in management of court-mandated volunteers, GPS tracking in the area of transportation and personnel, (reduced accident claims and complaints), and various other software and low-tech techniques in impacting Goodwill industries.
If I were to guess, Roger has prevented about US $1 million of loss through the use of technology in three years, and he has also developed a state-of-the art LP/risk management program.
